George Elliot Statham was the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Statham, of Horsell, Woking, Surrey.Driver Statham enlisted into the Royal Army Service Corps and was then attached to the 63 Airborne Division. Dvr Statham served in Ardennes.

He died on the 18 January 1945 aged 20 and is buried at Hotton War Cemetery, Belgium.
