Robert Arthur Evans successfully completed his training at Ringway on 27 October 1942.Private Evans was posted to 6th Battalion (Royal Welch Fusiliers), The Parachute Regiment and he served in Italy.

He died on 10 September 1943 and is now commemorated at the Cassino Memorial, Italy.
