David William Coote enlisted into The Grenadier Guards in May 1963 and volunteered for airborne forces in 1964.He qualified as a military parachutist in August 1964 and was posted to No 1 (Guards) Independent Parachute Company.
WO2 Coote retired from military service in May 1985 after 22 years service.
