Ronnie was born in 1933, and commissioned into the Seaforths in 1954.

This later became the QOHldrs. He transferred into the Parachute Regt in 1961 and was GSO2 in FARELF 1968-70

He then  commanded 10 PARA (V) 1972-5.

Following command he worked in HQ NI and in Ops & Plans DAP (A).

On retirement he became an RO in Shorncliffe Garrison. 

Lt Col R.J. Jenkins MBE died at home on 12 August 2022.
