Signalman Kenneth Thompson served with the 6th Airborne Divisional Signals and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy on 5-6 June 1944.Signalman Thompson died on 23 July 1944, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
