Lieutenant Derek Christopher Linsay Grange served with the Royal Armoured Corps, attached to 12th Battalion The Devonshire Regiment and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy on 5-6 June 1944.Lt Grange died on 6 August 1944, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
