Private William Randolph Longdon served with 225 Parachute Field Ambulance, RAMC, and took part in the D Day landings in Normandy, June 1944. Pte Longdon was killed on 7 June 1944, aged 22. He is now buried in Ranville Churchyard, near the War Cemetery, Normandy.
