Gunner William Henry Williams served with 4 Airlanding Anti-Tank Battery, RA and took part in the D Day landings in Normandy in June 1944. Gunner Williams was killed on 7 June 1944 aged 30.

He is now buried in Ranville Churchyard, near the War Cemetery, Normandy.
