Private Ronald Edward Jack Bristow, son of Edward James and Blanche Louisa Bristow, of Exeter, served with 12th (Airborne) Battalion, Devonshire Regiment. He took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.Private Bristow died on 26 March 1945, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Germany.
