Joe Lee, who served mainly with 1 Para. Famous for his huge moustache. 

It is said that he only ever made corporal as he had a tendency to get himself into trouble with his officers. Known also for creating havoc amongst EOKA supports during his service in Cyprus uprising. He was seen as a great soldier and held in very high esteem with all who served with him.

After 22 years service he left the army and was given the honour of taking the salute as the whole battalion marched passed. 

Joe sadly died 27 January 2021.
