Private Edward Oliver Tollervey, husband of Rosemary Tollervey of Readng, Berkshire, served with 181 Airlanding Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps.He was attached to 2nd Battalion South Staffordshire Regiment and  took part in the invasion of Sicily, during Op Husky.

Pte Tollervey died on 9 July 1943, aged 27 years, and is now commemorated on panel 12 of the Memorial at Cassino War Cemetery, Italy.
