Derrick Frank enlisted in 1956, serving with B Coy, 3 PARA.Pte Frank jumped on the 2nd parachute drop into Suez at 10 am on 5 November 1956.

He also served in Cyprus, Bahrain and on exercise in North Africa.

Originally demobbed in 1960, he re-enlisted and served until 1964.
