John Barford passed out of the Depot, Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces, in 431 Platoon during February 1977 and was posted to C Coy 3 PARA in Osnabruck, West Germany.He later served in The Parachute Regiment's Demonstation Platoon, based at Dering Lines Brecon, in 1979.
