Gordon Harris joined 33 Para Lt Regt RA in late 1960 and was serving with the unit when it was redesignated as 7 Para Lt Regt RHA in June 1961.He deployed to the Middle East during his service with the regiment and went on to serve with the Royal Artillery Motorcycle Display Team.
