Private George Hart, husband of Amy B Hart, of Leytonstone, Essex, served with 1st Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Private Hart died on 21 September 1944, aged 32 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, near Nijmegen.
