Ambrose Burton was born in 1938 and enlisted in The Parachute Regiment in 1957.He served in B Company 2 PARA and was posted to the Middle East in 1958 during the EOKA Campaign before going to Jordan. He returned to the UK for a short period before deploying to the Middle East and Libya in 1959.
Private Burton was demobbed in 1960.
