Lance Bombardier Stanley Roy Tatton, son of Harold and Laura Ruth Tatton, of Basford, Nottingham, served with 1st Airlanding Light Regiment, Royal Artillery. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Lance Bombardier Tatton died of wounds on 8 December 1944, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
