Airborne Assault MuseumCorporal William Henry Lambley was the son of William Henry and Helen Elizabeth Lambley, and husband of Ellen Joan Lambley, of Tottenham, Middlesex. He originally enlisted with the Royal Norfolk Regiment, before transferring to the 2nd (Airborne) Battalion, Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry.Corporal Lambley died on 8 February 1945, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Venray War Cemetery, Limburg.
