Corporal James Beresford served with 1st Airborne Divisional Signals, Royal Corps of Signals. He took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.Corporal Beresford died on the first day, 24 March 1945, aged 31 years old. He is now buried at Venray War Cemetery, Limburg.
