Private Clifford James Rogers, son of James Davies and Arianwen Rogers, of Pentrych, Glamorgan served with 2nd (Airborne) Battalion, South Staffordshire Regiment. He took part in glider insertion to the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.He died on 21 September 1944, aged 21 years old. He is now buried in Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
