Staff Sergeant Archy Aneurin Harris was the son of Joseph Archibald and Mary Laura Harris, and husband of Muriel Iris Harris, of Norton, Mumbles, Glamorgan.He served with 2nd Wing, Glider Pilot Regiment and took part in the glider insertion to the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.He died of wounds on 16 November 1944, aged 23. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
