Driver David William Capper, son of William Robert and Elsie May Capper, of Shrewsbury, Shropshire served with 2nd Parachute Squadron, Royal Engineers. He took part in the Italian campaign.He died on 28 February 1944, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Sangro River War Cemetery, Italy.
