Lieutenant Bernard Francis Smith served with 12th (Yorkshire) Parachute Battalion and took part in the deployment of 5th Parachute Brigade to the Far East.Lieutenant Smith died on 27 November 1945. He is now buried at Kranji War Cemetery, Singapore.
