Airborne Assault MuseumLance Sergeant Herbert Rymer, son of Lilian Dunn, and husband of Olive Eunice Rymer, of Goodmayes, Essex originally enlisted with the Lancashire Fusiliers, before transferring to 10th Battalion, The Green Howards, which in turn became the 12th (Yorkshire) Parachute Battalion in May 1943.Lance Sergeant Rymer died on 28 January 1945, aged 28 years old. He is now buried at Venray War Cemetery, Limburg.
