Corporal John William Parker served with 13 Para Bn and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy on 6 June 1944.Corporal Parker died on 7 June 1944, aged 34 years old. He is now buried at Ranville Churchyard, near the War Cemetery, in Normandy.
