Private Thomas Holt, son of Alfred and Sarah Ellen Holt, of Bolton, Lancashire, served with 13th (South Lancs) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Allied response to the Ardennes offensive during Winter 1944-5.Private Holt died on 3 January 1945, aged 22 years old. He is now buried at Hotton War Cemetery, Luxembourg.
