Sergeant Edward John Uppington served with 6th (Royal Welch) Parachute Battalion and took part in the Greece campaign, during Op Manna.Sergeant Uppington died on 8 December 1944, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Phaleron War Cemetery, Greece.
