Private Edward Oliver served with 156th Parachute Battalion and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.He was wounded and subsequently captured as a Prisoner of War.
Private Oliver died of wounds sustained during the Battle on 27 February 1945, aged 26 years old. He is now buried at Berlin 1939-45 War Cemetery, Berlin.
