A F Cooke successfully completed his training at Ringway on 18th September 1945.During parachute training course B178, it was noted that Cooke was “Keen and disciplined".
Private Cooke was posted to 21st Battalion, The Parachute Regiment where he served in Palestine.
He died on 25 May 1946 and is now buried in Ramleh War Cemetery, Israel.
