William Edward Waters was the son of William Ernest and Dorothy Waters, of East Molesey, Surrey.He successfully completed his parachute training at Ringway on 28 September 1942.
Private Waters was posted to the 1st Battalion, The Parachute Regiment where he served in North Africa.
He died on 5 February 1943 and is now commemorated at Medjez-El-Bab War Memorial, Tunisia.
