Airborne Assault MuseumPeter George Bevan completed his National Service with the Corps of Royal Military Police (RMP) from August 1947 to August 1949.In 1948 he was posted to the British Army of the Rhine in Germany to serve with 2nd Independent Parachute Brigade Group Provost Section. Shortly afterwards the brigade was redesignated as 16th Independent Parachute Brigade Group.
