Steve Airzee, initially served in Junior Parachute Company and passed through Depot, The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces, as a recruit in 419 Platoon. He was posted to 2 PARA, serving in B Coy and later HQ Coy, completing tours in Northern Ireland and Germany.He left the regiment in 1979, and after service with the regular reserve then enlisted with 55 Ordnance Field Park RAOC. Later, in 1990, he enlisted in the RAF as a Medic and until medical discharge on 14 Aug 2008.
Steve Airzee now resides in France.
