Lance Corporal William George Hill, son of George and Emily Beatrice Jane Hill, of Hunston, Sussex, served with 3rd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.Lance Corporal Hill died on 26 February 1943, aged 22 years old. He is now buried at Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia.
