Sergeant William Eric Higson, husband of Mary Elizabeth Higson, served with 3rd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.Sergeant Higson died on 29 January 1943, aged 31 years old. He is now buried at Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia.
