Private William Young Henderson, son of John and Eveline Henderson, of Edinburgh, served with 2nd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the invasion of Sicily, during Op Husky.Private Henderson died on 14 July 1943, aged 22 years old. He is now buried at Catania War Cemetery, Sicily.
