Private John Edward Hart, son of Charles and Mary Agnes Hart, of Birkenhead, served with 21st Independent (Pathfinders) Parachute Company. He took part in Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Private Hart died on 25 September 1944, aged 19 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, near Nijmegen.
