Company Sergeant Major Ronald Isaac was the son David and Kate W Isaac, of Luton, Bedfordshire, and the husband of Phyllis Hazel Isaac. He served with 249 Field Company (Airborne), Royal Engineers and took part in the Normandy campaign.Company Sergeant Major Isaac died on 10 June 1944, aged 31 years old. He is now buried at Hermanville War Cemetery, near Hermanville-sur-Mer, north of Caen, Normandy.
