Lieutenant Maurice Peter Fogt, son of Georges Fogt and Vera Louise Fogt (nee Bryan), of Chelsea, London, served with 1st (Airborne) Battalion, Royal Ulster Rifles. He took part in the Ardennes offensive in the winter of 1944-5.Lieutenant Fogt died on 27 January 1945, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Venray War Cemetery, Limburg in Holland.
