Airborne Assault MuseumI enlisted in 10 PARA in August 1956, and completed my pre Para course in September. I qualified as an army parachutist in November 1956 at RAF Abingdon and joined HQ Coy, Signal Platoon, KRRC 60th Rifles in October 1958. I was posted to N. Ireland in January 1959 and promoted to Corporal, April 1959.I served with 10 PARA again from October 1960 until 1964 and re-enlisted with 4th RGJ March 1976 until March 1978.
