Airborne Assault MuseumMy father served most of his Parachute Regiment career as a member of 2 PARA and served in Northern Ireland on a number of occasions as well as a two year posting (with the family) to Berlin.He also served in the Parachute Regiment Display Team for a period of time as well as Permanent Staff Instructor for B Coy 4 Para in Oldham.
He returned to 2 PARA towards the end of his career where he passed away following a massive heart attack playing squash in the gymnasium area of Browning Barracks in Aldershot.
