Captain John Louis Crichton, son of William Hay and Louise Crichton, of Wimbledon, Surrey, served with 3rd Parachute Battalion.He took part in the North African campaign and died on 11 November 1942, aged 26 years old. He is now commemorated at the North Front Cemetery, Gibraltar.
