Lance Sergeant Roy Charles Taylor, son of Charles William and Vera Edith Taylor, of Faversham, Kent, served with 7th (Light Infantry) Parachute Battalion.He took part in the deployment of 5th Parachute Brigade to the Far East and died on 14 July 1946, aged 20 years old. He is now buried in Taiping War Cemetery, Malaysia.
