Private William George Devonshire, son of William and Grace Devonshire, of Islington, London, served with the Royal Army Service Corps. He was attached to HQ 1st Airborne Division to take part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Private Devonshire died on 23 September 1944, aged 19 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
