Private Ralph Duncan Bennett, son of Jamieson Duncan Bennett and Violet Susan Bennett, of Edinburgh, served with 7th (Light Infantry) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Normandy campaign.Private Bennett died on 25 June 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
