Private Thomas Lawrence Beckett, son of Thomas and Nellie Beckett, of Walworth, London, served with 3rd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Private Beckett died on 26 September 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now buried in a joint grave at Tull en't Waal Protestant Cemetery, south of Utrecht.
