Private Leslie Barker, son of Joseph and Rosina Barker, served with 13th (South Lancs) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Normandy campaign.Private Barker died of wounds after evacuation to the UK on 28 June 1944, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Holy Trinity Churchyard, Biscot, Bedfordshire.
