Private Douglas Charles Arch, son of Thomas Arthur and Rosaline Arch, of Whitchurch, Glamorgan, served with 4th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Greek campaign, during Op Manna.Private Arch died on 10 December 1944, aged 26 years old. He is now buried at Phaleron War Cemetery, Greece.
