Private Robert Anderson was the son of Robert and Elizabeth Anderson, and the husband of Eleanor Anderson, of Sheffield. He served with 12th (Yorkshire) Parachute Battalion and took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.Private Anderson died on 24 March 1945, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Kleve, Germany.
