Edward Vincent Johnson passed through the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces Depot in Platoon Intake 130 and qualified as a military parachutist on Course 457 which ran at RAF Abingdon from 2 December 1957 to 16 January 1958.He was posted to the 1st Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (1 PARA).

Private Johnson lost a leg while serving 1 PARA in Cyprus.

‘Ted’ Johnson died Tuesday 31 May 2016.
