Arthur Higgins was born in 1917. His service number indicates that he first enlisted with The Royal Scots Fusiliers, before volunteering for the airborne forces.

 Arthur qualified as a Glider Pilot and was killed on 27 June 1943.  Arthur is buried at Enfidaville War Cemetery, Tunisia, Coll grave VI.  A.  7 - 21
